About Football Kicks

Football Kicks is a free-kick game from Mousebreaker, one of the best-known British Flash sports game sites. Each round puts the ball down somewhere around the box, with a defensive wall and a goalkeeper between you and the net. Your job is simple: score.

The skill is in shaping the shot. You choose where to aim, how high to lift the ball and how much curl to put on it, then watch it bend around the wall – or into it. Positions change, the keeper reacts, and the challenge of placing the perfect free kick, again and again, made it a lunchtime favourite in schools.

How to play

  • Use the mouse to set the direction, height and swerve.
  • Shoot and try to beat the wall and the keeper.

The game is played with the mouse only.

Stuck? Hints, gentlest first

Hint 1 – aim for the corners

The goalkeeper covers the middle. Shots towards the top corners are hardest to save.

Hint 2 – use swerve

Curl the ball around the wall instead of trying to go straight over it.

Hint 3 – read the targets

Some kicks reward hitting targets in the goal. Going for them is worth the risk when you are ahead.

FAQ

How do you shoot in Football Kicks?

With the mouse: set the direction, height and swerve of the kick, then shoot. The keeper and the wall do their best to stop it.

Can I still play Football Kicks in 2026?

Yes. Adobe stopped supporting Flash in 2020, but Football Kicks runs on this page through a Flash emulator built into the player. Press Play and it starts in a few seconds.

Do I need Flash Player to play Football Kicks?

No. You don’t need to install Adobe Flash Player, a plugin or any download. Football Kicks runs in any modern browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari.

Can I play Football Kicks on my phone?

Usually, yes. Football Kicks is played with the mouse, so taps work in most mobile browsers – although a computer still gives the best experience.

Who made Football Kicks?

Football Kicks was made by MOUSEBREAKER and released in 2007. The game belongs to its creator; FlashAttic only embeds it so it can still be played.

Does Football Kicks save my progress?

FlashAttic remembers that you played Football Kicks and for how long on this device. Whether the game saves your level depends on the game itself – many Flash games use level codes or their own save slot.
