About Earn to Die 2: Exodus

Earn to Die 2: Exodus is a zombie driving and upgrade game by Toffee Games. The world has been overrun, and the last way out is an evacuation point at the far end of a road packed with the undead. Your car will not make it on the first try – or the tenth. Each run, you drive as far as your fuel and your vehicle allow, earning money for distance and for every zombie you knock aside.

Between runs, you spend that money in the garage. Better engines, bigger fuel tanks, tougher frames, roof guns and rocket boosters all make the next run go further, and new vehicles unlock as you progress. The road itself is full of ramps, wrecks and slopes, so getting your car to land the right way up matters as much as raw power.

How to play Earn to Die 2

  • Accelerate and brake with the arrow keys.
  • Tilt the car in the air to land safely.
  • Boost with the boost key once you have bought a booster.
  • Upgrade in the garage between runs.

Click inside the game first so it receives your key presses.

Stuck? Hints, gentlest first

Hint 1 – fuel first

Early runs end when the tank runs dry. A bigger fuel tank adds distance every single run, so it is the best first upgrade.

Hint 2 – keep the nose level

Use the tilt keys in the air to land on your wheels. Landing on the roof ends the run instantly.

Hint 3 – boost on clear road

Save the boost for open stretches and ramps, not for crowds of zombies – it is wasted if you are slowed down straight away.

back in 2014

Earn to Die 2: Exodus continued the zombie-driving formula of the original Earn to Die and became one of the most played upgrade games of the late Flash era, before the series moved on to mobile.
