About Dr. Stanley's House

Dr. Stanley's House is a point-and-click puzzle adventure set inside the home of an inventor who has gone missing. The house is full of strange machines, locked doors and hidden compartments, and the only way to find out what happened is to explore it room by room.

It plays like an escape game stretched across a whole building. You collect items, use them on the house's mechanisms, decode clues hidden in the decor and gradually open up new areas. The puzzles are logical but layered: a piece you find early on may only make sense several rooms later, which is what makes finally connecting them so satisfying.

How to play

  • Click to move between rooms and look closer at things.
  • Pick up items and use them from your inventory.
  • Solve the mechanisms to unlock the rest of the house.

The game is played with the mouse only.

Stuck? Hints, gentlest first

Hint 1 – search every room

Go through each room before trying to solve anything. Many items you need are in places you will only use much later.

Hint 2 – note every clue

Numbers, symbols and colours on walls and objects are usually part of a code. Write them down.

Hint 3 – revisit after each item

A new item often unlocks something in a room you have already visited. When you are stuck, walk back through the house.
